“..for she is a reflection of eternal light, a spotless mirror of the working of God, and an image of His Goodness..”

Wisdom 7:26

Several years ago, I wrote a blog post entitled “An Object of Pleasure” (click for link)—and it was a door opened to greater vulnerability about my journey struggling to know and believe my beauty, dignity, and worth.

This topic weighs heavily upon my heart, so I want to offer myself as a resource if you are struggling with lies against your identity. Seriously, tell me what is on your heart. Allow me to pray for you—and to potentially speak into some of the things you are battling.

I am in the process of piecing together a book entitled Love Me: Wanting to Be Wanted, and the Battle over Worth.

The book journeys through the innate desire to be loved, experiences of unlove that lead to a refusal to be loved, and finally, experiencing healing through being loved. It will include my own story, as well as artistic expressions, Scripture suggestions, and reflection questions. My hope is that my vulnerability will invite you to face your own wounds, that you may uncover the good desires written on your heart.

YOU ARE GOOD.
